Overview

Dawn has had an ongoing relationship with yoga for over 30 years. Since undertaking her  Hatha Yoga training at the Academy for Yoga Training, Bath she seeks to find space in postures, breath and in the mind to provide balance to the demands of 21st Century living. Dawn has a particular interest in Yin Yoga and has qualified as a Yin Yoga Teacher and as well as teaching Yin classes she enjoys bringing elements of Yin into her Hatha classes. She is experienced at teaching complete beginners to those who want to complement their chosen sport. Her aim is for everyone to achieve a sense of wellbeing - yoga has something to offer for all ages, abilities and levels of physical fitness.

    Saturday Yoga with Dawn

    I have tried yoga a couple of times before but for some reason it never clicked for me but Dawn has the right approach and style of teaching that very much suits me, offering alternative moves to allow for my sore knees and lack of flexibility. I appreciate her calm, knowledgeable and inclusive approach and very much look forward to the class!

    Dawn leads amazing classes covering our wide range of abilities, focusing on areas which particularly suit our needs e.g. combating sitting at desks. She explains clearly and develops classes over the weeks, building on poses and widening our experience. Dawn demonstrates well and walks round to adjust our positions so that we are making the most of it. Thoroughly enjoyable classes and I really feel the benefit!

    Despite not being able to make the yoga for ages I would like to feed back how great I think Dawn’s sessions have been. I love the way she has geared them towards us as cyclists but also just what a great experience it is to stretch and relax (and have a laugh) in her classes. She is a fab teacher and has made yoga really accessible to me

    I don't think I've stuck with Yoga this long before! Our classes are varied and as they are geared towards (pun not intended) cyclists I think I get it now. I think of Yoga every day and how I can use it after cycling, during sitting and standing and breathing. You have an engaging delivery, calm voice and its obvious you love Yoga!
