Join me for gentle, personalised one-to-one classes or yin yoga group sessions broadcast from my Carshalton Studio Room.  Gain confidence, strength and flexibility through yin yoga.  Yin Yoga will help you to gain body awareness through long gentle stretches - you are in control of your practice.  My 1hr classes include a mix of gentle, flows and slower resting positions to help you to explore from the inside out, allowing tight joints and muscles to release as you explore your edges through breath work.  If you feel you need to develop a greater understanding of your body's restrictions, build your flexibility and leave the class feeling lighter and freeer - these classes are for you!  

I also offer pregnancy and post natal yoga and am a qualified pilates teacher.

My teaching includes an introductory discussion to identify your objectives and concerns, a gentle warm up "grounding" exercise to help you to relax, breathing practice to develop a deep sense of calm, slow flows and stretching working on the target areas, followed by a relaxing meditation or for longer sessions a guided Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) to help you get in touch with your intentions and aspirations.

I've been practising yoga for over 20 years and qualified with the School of Sacred Arts in Ubud, Bali. The School of Sacred Arts is a well established and respected yoga school in Bali and has a wholistic approach to yoga, bringing in complimentary practices such as Ayurveda, Pregnancy Yoga and Activism.  Also hold 120hrs advanced yoga teacher training completed in yin yoga, meridian and chakra theory and meditation with Yinstitute Yoga. Pregnancy training with Bliss Baby Yoga. Additional training in Yoga Nidra and Restorative practices with Uma Dinsmore Tuli and Dina Cohen. Pilates with HFE.
