Overview

I went to my first yoga class in 2005 and have been hooked ever since by its transformational and restorative properties. 

I qualified as a 200hr Hatha Raja Yoga Teacher with CYS London/Scotland in 2012. My training back then consisted of a regular Ashtanga practice.  Now, I offer slower-paced flows with influences from many different styles of yoga.

    I attended Chris's yoga session at my gym in Nov 2019. I have been hooked ever since and continued her lesson during lockdown. Now I attend in-person class and all her online sessions. I particularly enjoy the way Chris finishes the class with Shava asna, chanting OM and this is my absolute favourite "Corners of the mouth turning up and keep this feeling with you"

    Chris is a very good teacher - she gives clear information/instructions and lets everyone decide how much they would like to do - emphasising that we can opt out as wanted/needed and has well structured/planned classes

    Chris provides a much welcomed Hatha de-stress session on Wednesday evenings which helps through a busy work week. A good night sleep and feeling relaxed to see the rest of the week out at work.

    I have been attending classes with Chris for 5 years now and always come out of the session feeling improved and relaxed. She has a delightful manner and always has time to deal with individual problems and offer advice and solutions. We continued our classes on Zoom throughout the restrictions and it was great to have that continuity. Try her classes - I can thoroughly recommend!

    I love Chris's yoga classes! Her practice suites my needs perfectly, I particularly enjoy the combination of deep stretching, pranayama and relaxation. I do a lot of running and find Chris's classes have really helped to keep my 'runners' muscle groups stretched & strengthened.
