Hello!
I have been practicing yoga since 2010, and in 2016 I took the opportunity to complete my 200hr RYT training in Rishikesh, India. This was a wonderful immersion into the history and lineage of yoga. Learning the fundamentals of both the Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa asana systems, along with Pranayama and Meditation, it gave me an opportunity to deepen my own practice, as well as understand how it can affect others.
With a personal practice inspired by the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of Sri K Pattahbi Jois and Vinyasa Flow, I teach an accessible, flowing blend of asana inspired from both of these systems. Trying to teach the connection to one’s breath throughout these movements is the central focus to any of my classes, but trying to do so while having some fun is arguably more important.
