In spring 2015 I graduated as a registered yoga teacher following completion of my Yoga Alliance UK 200 hour Teaching Certificate under the meticulous guidance of Clarissa Robertson at Red Hot Yoga in Guildford, Surrey.
A self-confessed exercise addict, I landed unexpectedly in a Bikram yoga class, having sustained a running injury, and soon began to explore other yoga disciplines with a voracity to master each new asana. To my great surprise I simultaneously realised during the course of my practice that my “monkey mind chatter” had slowly begun to diminish. Exploring and teaching this mind/body connection with my students is now my passion and driving ambition.
A qualified personal trainer with an appreciation for human anatomy and physiology, I also run a private medical practice for a consultant surgeon and sports medicine physician which I feel brings a holistic approach to my teaching.
I am influenced by the precision and alignment of the Iyengar discipline alongside the freedom and spirituality associated with Forrest yoga.
You can expect to laugh, play, sweat, reconnect body & mind in order to renew, and (finally) rest!
