Overview

Paula is a fully qualified yoga teacher and studio owner of Yoga Meditation Healing in Glasgow, specialising in yoga and well being classes for Every Body, Every One and Every Mind. She teaches weekly classes, monthly workshops and leads a yoga holiday once a year in Greece. 

Paula has been practicing yoga since her early twenties and qualified in 2011 with Brenda Louw of ChillOut Yoga. She is committed to her Continuing Professional Development and enjoys learning and studying about all aspects of yoga allowing her practice and teaching to continually evolve. Paula has continued her Advanced Yoga Teacher Training studies with Brenda Louw and in addition with Srivatsa Ramaswami studying The Essentials of Vinyasa Krama Yoga and Core Vinyasa along with other trainings in AcuYin Yoga and Ayurvedic Yoga. Most recently she has enjoyed online anatomy training with Leslie Kaminoff and Amy Matthews and online workshops with Paul and Suzee Grilley and Donna Farhi. Paula has attained more than 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training hours. As a former school teacher, Paula has been an educator and facilitator for two decades and retains her registration with the General Teaching Council of Scotland - a highlight was having yoga timetabled for senior pupils in her former school.  

Paula teaches creative and carefully crafted Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa classes which are functional and accessible in their approach. She is proud to teach her Over 60s Yoga Therapeutics class affirming her belief that yoga is for everybody. Paula's effective communication and clarity of instruction ensures appropriate variations and modifications for her students to find their own level of depth and comfort within their practice. She encourages breath awareness, somatic exploration and self-enquiry to facilitate students' self awareness. Paula also enjoys teaching corporate well-being classes and one to one sessions. Paula ultimately enjoys sharing her passion for yoga.
