Welcome!

I'm Gem from Gem Yoga and Wellness, a qualified 200hr registered yoga teacher in beautiful Hampshire, South of England. I completed my training with the wonderful Laura Green Teacher Training Yoga School, after many years as her student.

My obsession with yoga started well over 8 years ago during my first pregnancy with my son whilst living in Auckland, New Zealand. I had no idea what I was doing; all I knew was that I wanted more! I also had no idea of just how significant walking into that first class would be, and where it has now led me. Roll on a few years through a university degree in social work, and marrying my soul mate, who's been my rock and support through it all. Add another little bubba to the mix and, I truly see yoga as a way of life. I have used the powerful techniques of yoga as a means of supporting various challenging periods in my life through both pregnancies, stress, and depression. 

As a family gal, who loves being in or near the ocean, exploring and adventuring in forests, climbing trees or playing basketball with my son, or dancing around the kitchen with my active toddler whilst cooking, I have found BALANCE IS FUNDAMENTAL to my survival! I love to travel, eat and I'm perhaps slightly obsessed with the moon! I teach vinyasa yoga, meditation & wellness classes, and courses for all levels. My hope is to bring you a sense of peace and calmness, as well as lively, playful, energetic flows, which represent the energy and passion I have towards living life!

My passion is now my dream job and I have found my soul's pursuit in life. I can’t wait to share the wondrous benefits yoga and meditation has to offer you, and how they can help create a feeling of harmony and simplicity, and a sense of real & purposeful living in this oh-so-busy world!
