Overview


I am a RYT 350hrs Yoga Teacher qualified in Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin and Pregnancy Yoga. I offer classes, workshops and private 1-2-1 sessions including Women's Yoga circle Workshops from my home studio in NW London and at studios and gyms around London. 

Classes are a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa incorporating practices such as Pranayama, Mudra and Mantra, Traditional Chinese Medicine methods, Western Restorative postures and African spirituality wisdom and practices. I encourage a deeper more soulful connection to your body and mind through intention, movement, breath, focus, sound and in group settings togetherness, to shift energy and raise your vibration.

My intention is that you leave class having connected with your body and breath, feeling more present, rooted and taller than when you came in. With regular practice my intention is that you encounter the transformation you are seeking.

My passion for yoga is fuelled by the ability to share my own experience of the physical, mental and emotional benefits that continue to support me to navigate, appreciate and flow with the twists and turns of life with a deeper sense of awareness, connection to self and understanding that we are creating our lives in every moment.

I found yoga at a time of life when I felt vulnerable, confused and lost after experiencing the break up of a 9 year relationship and becoming a single mother to my then 6 year old son at just 26. My Yoga practice was pivotal in helping me to uncover that what I was feeling was natural and that I had become disconnected from Self.

Over the next 12 years my Yoga practice continued while I followed the 'expected' path of developing a successful marketing career in global FMCG companies. There were some breaks in my practice however each time I came back to my practice I noticed that I felt more at peace in myself and over time my practice deepened.

In 2015 I stepped into the unknown, leaving a corporate career path that I had committed to but hadn't fulfilled me for some time. I travelled to India to complete a 200hr Ashtanga Teacher Training with Samyak Yoga at an Ashram just outside of Mysore, an inspirational, grounding and profound experience. My training expanded and deepened my interest, practice and understanding beyond Asana and Pranayama to Meditation and Philosophy.

Yoga has been and continues to be a constant journey back to Self, moving beneath the layers that we create as we navigate our journey through life.  I continue to expand and deepen my own practice and training and will forever be a student of life.
