Overview

Hi. My mum's a yoga teacher, so is my cousin, so I guess yoga has been part of my life on and off for a long time. Like many I was drawn to India and found myself going to the same yoga class every day. It was an ashtanga class. I loved how the familiarity of the sequence allowed me to concentrate on breathing, how with practice I progressed in a posture.

I continued to practice fairly sporadically, but now have a regular practice now my boys are no longer babies. Being a mum is wonderful but also challenging. My yoga practice has helped me through some tricky times and continues to do so. After having the boys I gave up work in the corporate and marketing world to spend time with them and in 2018 was lucky enough to do my YTT with Gingi Lee and Kath Roberts, with guest teachers Norman Blair, Ruth Westoby, (and more), and practice with Inna Constantini at The Shala in South London.

I teach a dynamic vinyasa flow / ashtanga based class with a focus on alignment to build stability and strength.

Finally, I think it's important to have fun on your mat!
