Overview

I combine a fusion of east and west, encouraging students to embrace a spirit of acceptance for what ‘is’ in the present moment and to let go of ego. I seek to help others bloom in life by nurturing body, mind and soul and my hope is that students step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced. I strongly believe yoga is a tonic for our modern busy, stressful lives and can heal.

    Between 2021 and 2022 I studied on an intensive 18 month Yoga Teacher Training Programme where Angela Sykes is the Head & Leader of said programme and also a Director of the Yoga Studio ‘Yoga Kula Leeds’ where the in per person programme is based. Angela leaves no stone unturned as she takes you through the ins and out of the foundations of Hatha Yoga with opportunities throughout the course to gain knowledge and skills in a range of Yoga Asana Styles, as well as being able to participate in Karmi Yoga to gain insight into how a successful yoga studio is run behind the scenes. I have gained invaluable insight into my own self, practices and this has helped me thrive personally as well as professionally. The course is devised and presented to a high standard and now over a year after graduating I sing it’s praises to anyone who enquires about training as a Yoga Teacher. Thank you to Angela, Rich, Danni & the whole Yoga Kula Leeds Team ????????????✨

    I've been going to Angela's classes for so many years, I love her style of strength and softness and I always appreciate her wisdom. I also completed my 300 hour Hatha TTC at Yoga Kula. The course was life changing along with the quality of teaching and richness of the syllabus. Angela is generous with her offerings to the community and always willing to share her knowledge. She always encourages others to develop their skills and is a great role model for yoga teachers. Yoga Kula is a credit to Leeds and now with Daoist Flow to add to the list, I highly recommend visiting the studio and working with Angela.

    I completed my 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with Angela at Yoga Kula Leeds. Angela is an amazing teacher and the structure and delivery of the course reflected that. Always approachable with any queries about the practice or teaching of yoga, she is incredibly generous with both her time and knowledge. I could not recommend this course with Angela highly enough.
