Overview

My Journey

I began my personal yoga journey in 2014, when multiple knee injuries from years of running and weight training left me unable to enjoy physical activity in the way I used to. What started as a ‘fix’ quickly became a passion, when I started practising Fierce Grace in 2015.

In 2018, I took the Fierce Grace Yoga Teacher qualification, learning from Michele Pernetta and her talented team of senior teachers. In 2022, I completed my Pregnancy Yoga Training with the wonderful group at Yoga Mama.

Why I Became A Yoga Teacher

Yoga has been so transformative for me, and I aim to help others benefit from it too.

I came to yoga with injury, a stiff body and a stressed mind. Yoga has helped me heal my knees, open my body whilst building new strength, and helped me develop a personal meditation practice to help me cope with the stresses of London life!

    Fierce Grace

I found Natalia to be a very open and engaging teacher. She is observant and gives constant feedback on how poses should feel. She pushes you just enough to ensure the practice is challenging, but at no point makes you feel that you are being pushed too far. She comes across as very knowledgeable about the history and benefits of yoga, and is also very enthusiastic about how yoga has helped her, which I find to be particularly motivating.

    Fierce Grace

I would wholeheartedly recommend Natalia. Despite significant yoga experience, I was surprised by just how much I learned that was new. Natalia takes the time to explain moves, including, crucially, how it should feel so you know if you’re positioning your body in the right way. This was really quite novel as compared to many classes where you can can get lost in a cycle of “down dog/up dog/child/warrior 1” commands without much attention, if any, on what you’re actually doing in those moves. How the stretch should feel, what adjustments you can make etc. She was incredibly supportive throughout and more than anything, I was grateful for how open she was in talking about her own body, what progress she’s made and also what its natural limits are. Too often yoga can feel like a competition for who can do the deepest bends or is most flexible - to have a teacher who is very much opposed to that and focuses on everyone’s individual body and strengths was very refreshing.

    Fierce Grace - Classic Class

I decided to try hot yoga for the first time following a friend's recommendation and went along to Fierce Grace for the Classic Class. Natalia was my teacher on the day and I was really impressed by her knowledge, enthusiasm and attention to detail when it came to correcting poses and helping those like me who are relative beginners to get the most out of the class. Natalia also has a great sense of humour and the 90 mins went by really quickly! I loved the class and will definitely attend more of Natalia's sessions in the future!
