Overview

To be a Yoga teacher is a dream come true and my passion is to help others to find a settled mind and healthy body, to enable and encourage everyone to enjoy our ridiculously precious life to the full! I qualified with Yoga Alliance in 2016 completing the AmiYoga 200hr qualification in Hull, UK with Ann-Marie Mainprize. The training course I took part changed my life as I left my profession as an Early Years school teacher to focus entirely on Yoga.

I have trained in Functional Anatomy with Jambo Truong who is a world renowned Anatomy specialist and Forrest yoga guardian. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and specialist massage techniques to relive pain and increase muscle function and flexibility. My yoga classes incorporate my in-depth knowledge of anatomy and systems of the body so I explain to students how yoga is beneficial in this way and give help for specific health issues.

I have completed Yoga Pregnancy and Post-Natal training in London with Uma Dindsmore-Tuli in March 2017. I run specialist yoga classes for pregnancy that can help with specific issues and to prepare for birth.  It is a pleasure to often welcome back my previously pregnant students as they come to my Post-Natal classes along with their baby! I especially love my "Baby Bees" mam and baby yoga classes and I feel so lucky to be able share yoga with others, empower women and facilitate friendships and support for each other.
