My life, up until this moment, has been a journey of exploration; a process of following my passions and fascinations as I gather the knowledge and skills which have enabled me to help myself, and others, to lead a more healthy and wholesome life. A number of circumstances and lifestyle choices, yoga for example, encouraged me to take a closer look at myself, my body, my purpose in this life. This is how I came to be a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist.
I am in awe of the immense and intrinsic connection between nature and our human bodies. Fascination still strikes me when I ponder how our physical body is entirely formed from elements of the earth. All of this has helped me to understand just how completely our food and lifestyles choices – what we opt to put into our bodies – affects how we feel and function.
I graduated with my diploma as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist at The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, 2015.
I love food and enjoy cooking for myself and others! I am entirely committed to the truth that eating healthily need not be boring or restrictive; that living a wholesome life is not a process of self-deprivation. Food for me is still an adventure full of flavours, experimentation, colours and indulgence.
I am laid back, down to earth and empathetic. People find me easy to talk to as a nutritional therapist and I have been described as ‘motherly’ as a yoga teacher. I am indeed now a mother to baby Reuben who is still in his first year on this planet; we are enthusiastically exploring the world of food anew together! I am also a musician and consider myself a creative person.
