Overview

Yoga makes me feel happy, fulfilled, strong and grounded. After spending half my life in frantic office environments, juggling the demands of work with family, I realised this way of life was unsustainable.  I took a step back in my mid forties and created a business that focused on health and wellbeing. As well as being a qualified yoga instructor, I am a personal trainer, massage therapist and nutritional advisor.

 Over the years I have experienced periods of considerable stress and anxiety.  Through yoga I have realised that what was missing was a true sense of identity, purpose and calm. The magic that yoga brings to my life now, never ceases to amaze me! From a passionate hobby I have made yoga the main focus of my life.  It has brought to me a sense of peace and empowerment that was previously missing.  And I feel dedicated to helping others to create this for themselves.

I describe myself as heart-centred, but with a tough outer layer - a bit of an ageing tomboy really! I like to think I'm intuitive and empathetic, with a slightly wild, impulsive side to me.

I am a big believer that yoga is for everyone. I have experience of working with clients of all ages (from 16 to 91!), on a on-to-one basis or in classes. I enjoy teaching Hatha Vinyasa Flow, to encourage strength and flexibility, and am super vigilant about correct posture alignment.  I also love to immerse myself and my students in the spiritual side of the practice, so they can really feel the unique transformation that the yoga journey can make to mind, body and spirit. 

Above all I love the fun and friendships that yoga can bring to life.
