Overview

Hi My name is Tracy and I am a mum of three children along with my beloved pets, a boxer dog, 2  cats and a rabbit.

My husband and I have practised yoga since our early 20s and my passion keeps growing!

At “My Ashram Yoga” studio I will teach you Asanas (body postures), Pranayama ( control of vital energy through breath control) and Meditative techniques to reduce stress and build self- confidence.

My Hatha yoga classes are based around the traditional 84 asanas.  They aim to bring balance in the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of ourselves. Everyone is welcome to join and I provide adjustments and modifications for all levels.

My Pregnancy  Yoga classes aim to relieve any tension in achy muscles, especially the lower back, pelvis, shoulders and neck. The classes will help to increase your stamina ready for birth and motherhood whilst building your self confidence in your own ability to birth your baby.

My Postnatal yoga classes will strengthen your core muscles and help to realign your body after vaginal, caesarean, forceps or long induction births.  They are a wonderful opportunity to bond with your baby through sound, vibration and touch in a relaxed, calm and supportive environment.

All of my classes aim to provide you with a sense of community where you can make friends and feel supported.

I have completed my 200 hour teacher training through Christine Felix Yoga Teacher Training at Akram Yoga Studios and also 85 hours additional training with Sally Parkes Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training.

    Yoga for beginners

    Tracy is an amazing yoga teacher. She is calm, caring and very professional. She quietly corrects your pose if it is not quite right. She recognizes and respects individuals limitations. The room/cabin is a beautiful calm space in which to practice yoga. Being surrounded by nature and listening to the birds adds to the relaxing experience.

    Pregnancy Yoga

    Couldn't recommend Tracy any more highly as a yoga teacher. It’s so lovely going to a class where the instructor takes such an interest in each individual (even for a full class) and manages to tailor the exercises so that they address everyone’s needs. She is very approachable and welcoming and has so much time for each member both in the class and also outside of it. The format is a lovely mix of stretching, flow and relaxation. I always look forward to going and really miss the weeks where I can’t. There’s such a great atmosphere among everyone there and it has also been a great way to meet fellow mums to be. So glad I found this class, will definitely be attending the post-natal one in due course.

    Hatha Yoga class

    After reading that yoga would help with my anxiety and depression aswell as flexibility and back problems I was keen to try it. Most classes I found were large and in town or a busy gym and it really put me off but then I met Tracy, she was amazing right from the start. I had explained about my back problems and my anxiety disorder and my fear about going to classes and she was really understanding and reassuring making it more comfortable for me to go and be there, every week since that first class I have learnt something new, not just about yoga and mindfulness but about myself and how I look at life. The studio is just lovely, set in beautiful surroundings you instantly feel good being there, I just feel so calm and relaxed there, I look forward to it every week. Tracy is truly amazing, so warm and welcoming and so helpful with the poses and stretches. She is a fantastic teacher.

    Yoga

    Tracy is a very warm, spiritual and compassionate person so as a yoga teacher she brings these extra special qualities to her teaching . Classes are very small and intimate so there is a lot of attention and care given to everyone. As an added bonus Tracy’s studio is beautiful and overlooks green calming grounds in the Surrey countryside. Highly recommended for anyone of any fitness level who wants to escape the world for an evening.
