Overview

I have over 20 years experience of practicing different styles of yoga, Hatha, Iyengar, Bikram, Vinyasa and Ashtanga to name a few. I am qualified in Hatha, vinyasa flow, pregnancy and post natal yoga.

I am the founder of MyParkYoga and offer outdoor yoga in Priory Park, Reigate and also teach at various studios in Reigate, Dorking and Crawley as well as offering one to one sessions.

My style is very much vinyasa flow and even my hatha classes do have a flow element to them.

It’s very important for me to give clear and precise instructions - I always aim to teach consciously, offering something different in every class, ensuring I concentrate on strength, flexibility, injury prevention and alignment.

My classes are open to everyone offering  a strong class with progressions for those that like a challenge, but also offering lots of modifications for those with injuries, new to yoga or wanting a softer practice.

I believe that you should always listen to your own body, mindfulness and breath are the most important parts of yoga and without the breath there can be no yoga.


Yoga is not about what the person next to you is doing, but about focusing on what is right for your own body at that time and always being true to yourself.


On a non-yoga note, my inspiration is my daughter who inspires me everyday and I am blessed to have such a beautiful girl who makes me laugh and makes me appreciate the simplest things in life.
