Overview

Varsha Khatri’s approach to healing and living a healthy life is through the principles of Ayurveda, nutrition, health education, and yoga. Over the years, her international experience in the field of holistic health has enabled her to work with patients to reach their health goals through the power of healing foods. Varsha founded her own health and wellness business, Illuminated Health, in 2012. She uses techniques from both Eastern and Western health practices. Her private practice involves integrating both the Western and the Ayurvedic approach to diet, nutrition, fitness, lifestyle, and spirituality. She also teaches yoga, provides nutrition consultations, and regularly runs health and well-being courses to help people achieve their health goals.

Varsha has a master’s degree in holistic health education with an emphasis in holistic nutrition, as well as a bachelor’s degree in physiology and health, with an emphasis in Maharishi Ayurveda. She is a registered senior yoga teacher. As a qualified nutritionist, Varsha specialises in working with children’s health, digestive health, food allergies, and autoimmune conditions. She motivates and inspires her clients to work at a pace that is comfortable yet challenging while also educating them along the way so they continue to make healthier choices. Her approach is practical and recognises that each individual is different. 

Originally from San Diego, California, Varsha now lives in Greater London with her husband and two kids, where she runs Illuminated Health. Varsha loves to spend time with her children and get them involved with many of her wellness activities, such as yoga and cooking. Aside from yoga and meditation, Varsha loves reading, going for walks, colouring, spending time outdoors, and crocheting. She and her husband like to live by example for their children by making healthy choices within their own family diet and lifestyle.
