I finally found the courage to train as a yoga teacher after 34 years of personal practice, when the realisation dawned that I needed to share my passion for yoga with others! Thinking "I'm not good enough/confident enough", I decided that maybe I was just being selfish, and that if I had gained so much from having yoga in my life, then surely it was only fair to at least try and share some of that magic! So I took the plunge and trained with Bliss yoga, now renamed Sandstone yoga, completing my 200 hours and graduating in May 2017. Now the real journey begins! My style of teaching is inclusive and encouraging, as I truly believe we can all find the best version of ourselves, and create a more harmonious world though yoga.
2023 update: I am only teaching 1 class per week due to clinical commitments in my Physiotherapy career in the NHS and undertaking a Masters degree into Research in Spinal Pain! Yoga continues to be my constant guide to achieving and helping others achieve that work-life balance we all crave :-)
