I am passionate about my yoga teaching, incorporating both PHYSICAL and BREATH aspects of yoga which I have learnt from my Teachers at the Devon School of Yoga (DSY) and Its Yoga Thailand and their Gurus.
I believe yoga is available to everyone, any age or fitness level. Yoga enables us to create self-awareness/acceptance and compassion for living a full and healthy life.
My training journey started in 1998 as a Fitness Instructor then Personal Trainer and this is where my love for anatomy and how the body works started. It was during this time I took my first Yoga class (Iyengar) and discovered that yoga could relieve my back pain (sciatica) and calm my restless mind. I started attending workshops and weekend yoga courses to delve deeper into the world of Yoga and the different styles it offered. In 2009 I completed My Hatha Yoga Diploma 500hrs with the DSY. Loving the benefits that Yoga offered I decided to leave the world of pounding my body through Spinning, High Energy Aerobics, Step & Weights and incorporate the physical side I loved through Ashtanga Yoga. Completing my Ashtanga Vinyasa 200hrs certification in 2012 and Advanced Ashtanga through Rocket Yoga 100hrs in 2013 with Its Yoga Thailand. I completed my Yin Yoga Training with Chi Therapeutic in March 2019.
I live and teach classes in and around Edinburgh offering all level classes so everyone can go at their own pace according to their ability and needs. I am also a Yoga-Routes Yoga Teacher Trainer on a 200hr Yoga Alliance Professionals accredited course.
I am totally committed to inspiring people to live their best life through the practice of yoga.
