ABOUT the CREATOR/OWNER

tracy parritt-noyes SYT Yoga Alliance Professionals RYTC MBS Certified Holistic Life-Coach

SPIRITUAL WARRIOR

My most valued experience has come from time spent on the mat; as a student learning, as a teacher teaching, as a coach coaching, and in my own Self-practice, practicing.

 I have learned many lessons from both my students and teachers, I am grateful to them all. Inspiration has been found through B.K.S Iyengar, Dharma Mittra, Beryl

Bender-Birch, Sarah Powers, Shiva Rea, Mark Lilly, Lead Trainer of Street Yoga and

Aadil Palkhivala. Through the lessons of Leonard Perlmutter, The American Meditation Institute. Through Jesus Christ, and lessons  from God. From my most wonderful parents, and family, and through students and teachers in training who have studied and practiced within these Studio walls...

 My consistent goal is to teach a return to spiritual, moral and ethical behavior based upon respect of Self, and of others.

The purpose of my work is to 'awaken' your future...

 My goal in creation of this Studio is to provide a place of stillness and balance within. Where growth of Self respect begins, where community responsibility results.

Tenants of Community (showing up); Principle (honesty); Purpose (releasing expectations); and Non-Resistance (being open to outcomes) represent our focus.

How Motivational Yoga fits into it;

 MOTIVATIONAL YOGA

MY YOGA

Definition:

Focus:  The building of;

Strength, Balance and Flow via a daily practice that includes a unique set sequence of Warrior asana, followed by a pranic energy induced creative flow that inspires brain health and building an acceptance to constant change.

Seeks to Inspire:

That the path to change, in the world which we live,  is in the understanding and acceptance that change is a constant; and that brain (mental health), and physical health is imperative to this understanding and acceptance.

Motivational Yoga inspires this understanding and acceptance through a four limb path of; Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath work), Mantra (asking), and Meditation (listening).

ASANA

                 PRANAYAMA

                                             MANTRA, ACTIVE PRAYER

                                                                    MEDITATION, ACTIVE LISTENING

Symbol: Two Connected yet open Triangles

TOOLS:

1. Teaches the importance of being present (of ‘showing up’) through long asana (posture) holds, with an internal focus, an active self-inquiry and engagement of active breath and meditation techniques.

2. Encourages that you;  Meet your Self on the mat (Honesty),  actively engaging edges while consciously launching  a set sequence of self-inquiry;

Vision, Honesty, Forgiveness, and Wisdom; Courage, Faith, Perseverance, and Discipline; Health, Wealth, Gratitude and Grace.

3. Developing ‘Adaptability to Change’ (letting go of expectation) through creative and ever-changing sequencing and joyful surprise.

Sequencing follows pranic energy as it moves through the body, a strong focus on letting your breath 'do the work'.

4. Cultivating an ‘Acceptance to all Outcomes’ through Gratitude and Grace both on the mat and off the mat with every breath cycle,

Creating change in the world around us.

 Motivational Yoga teaches you strength within your own stillness...

 We are a forward focused world.

With a constant challenge of moving forward…

 This practice introduces a very different concept.

A pause ~

For the best actions we can take, with courage, is to relax;

step back, pause, let go, simplify and awaken.

This is the essence of Motivational Yoga
