The Anatomical Foundations of Yoga
Anatomy is an essential tool, for not only Yoga instructors but also Massage Therapists, Physical Therapists & Personal Trainers or if you are interested in deepening the connection to your personal practice. Forrest Yoga intentionally applies precise anatomical cues. This workshop offers a foundation for better understanding the anatomy of the pelvic girdle, including structure (innominate bones, sacrum, coccyx and associated muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints), function, movement and sexual dimorphism and how this relates to your yoga practice and/or teaching.
A Unique Opportunity
This 4-hour course is for anyone looking to establish or deepen their anatomical knowledge as a strong foundation for the practice of yoga. There is no prerequisite for this course.
