This is the foundational module of our 300 hour course and can be taken as a training in its own right. It will provide the yoga student/teacher with a practical way to audit and improve their key teaching skills. Suitable for yoga teachers, trainees and serious yoga practitioners.
This weekend workshop is for yoga teachers, trainees and practitioners who wish to shine the light on their understanding of the science and art of teaching yoga. Take the time to focus on the essential skills that make your teaching more potent, authentic and pleasurable for you to deliver and for your students to receive.
Each morning will include a 2 hour practice where we can explore with our bodies and our hearts the curriculum that we will cover below.
We will cover:
Universal Principles Alignment– An overview (and introduction) to Anusara’s elegant bio-mechanical principles of alignment . There are 5 principles that can be applied to one degree or other in all poses, in all yogic practices and to a large extent in life itself.
