How to Sequence a Vinyasa flow class - With Rachel Wilkinson & Pip Taverner

This workshop is for yoga teachers who want to explore how to structure and build a sequence for teaching a vinyasa flow class or for advanced students to build a more dynamic creative self/home practice.
This workshop counts as 4 CPD hours with Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Pip will be guiding you first on setting a strong foundation with your Vinyasa sequence and class. She will be working on foundational yoga poses. We will cover understanding Vinyasa krama. We will explore building on a theme and how to enhance and change up your sun salutations.

Rachel will guide you through creative, individulistic sequencing and choreography, even getting you off the mat! She will be exploring how you can guide your class to flow and move in a playful and dynamic way yet enabling a deeper connection through the practice. She will show how through creative sequencing you can guide students to work on emotional issues and build confidence.

This cpd is suitable for teachers who have recently qualified or are in their first couple years of teaching, or for those coming from other yoga styles such as Hatha or Bikram who would like a better understanding of vinyasa flow sequencing.
It is also suitable for regular and advanced practitioners who want to develop a Vinyasa flow home practice and that need some new inspiration or ideas for their self practice.
