In this brand new workshop, Tara Lee will share her knowledge and skill from 20 years of experience teaching pregnancy yoga to thousands of women. Tara and fellow yoga teacher and writing partner Clare Daniell, believe that pregnancy can be a time of growth and vitality. Many women practise yoga today and it is often recommended by doctors to help women during their pregnancy.
As yoga teachers it is our responsibility to be well informed and to create safe spaces for our students to access the state of yoga. Many teachers worry about how best to advise a pregnant student and whether or not she should continue to attend regular yoga classes, or whether she should attend specific pregnancy yoga classes. Many yoga teachers have never experienced a dedicated pregnancy yoga class. Tara’s approach is to support a mother to feel strong, supple and connected during her pregnancy.
