Mudras in Sanskrit means“gesture,” “mark” or “seal.” Mudras are most commonly known as hand positions in yoga and meditation and are believed to affect the flow of energy in the body and unblock chakras. There are numerous types of mudras each type is thought to have a specific effect on the body and mind. Although hand (hasta) mudras are the most common in yoga, there are also body (kaya) and consciousness (citta) mudras. 


Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a psychological acupressure technique which can be used to optimize your emotional health and has a direct knock on to your physical well-being by removing negative emotions; reducing food cravings; reducing pain and implementing positive goals - A technique I have been using myself to great effect!
