Part 1: The Foundations Of Joint Stability. Learn how breathe becomes force that transfers the energy that is required for movement into the shoulders via Serratus Anterior. This workshop teaches practitioners how to asses the various possible patterns that could relate to Serratus Anteriors function.
Serratus Anterior is a major component for shoulder health and function because of it’s relationship to the core. It is also the most important structure of the shoulder because of its sheer size. The size of this structure means that it has a wider range of movement patterns to the shoulder joint and thus can have several relationships with other structures that support shoulder stability.
By learning these patterns, practitioners are well informed to create unique sequences and support on a 1-2-1 level with Yoga Therapeutics.
This workshop focuses on the development of the yoga practitoners physical strength.
Part 2: Different from the previous workshop. This yoga story involves practitioners learning how to assess dysfunctional shoulder patterns that limit the the experience of freedom within back bends.
Chasing opening tightness is one thing, but learning how to strengthen the structures that improve moving in the direction of back bends is something rarely seen, practised or celebrated within the yoga community.
This workshop enables practitoners to asses which areas of the back are limiting the practitioner to be able to breathe deeply - which is the start of moving more deeply into back bends
