When you are struggling to sleep, yoga's different techniques can help you release tension and find stillness at the end of a hectic day.

A good night's sleep can be within your reach by learning a few special breathing and meditative techniques and a couple of specific yoga postures to do before bedtime.

We will go through very gentle and grounding yoga asana practice to move prana downward in order to connect ourselves to the earth element and slowly take our sensory awareness inward. To enhance the quality of our sleep, reduce the active mind and negative thoughts we will learn how the shape of the poses we choose can address what's happening in the physical body. We will then enjoy a series of restorative yoga poses supported by the props and held for longer periods of time suitable to do before bed time.

The sequence will pull your attention away from workday concerns which will make you feel calm, centred and well prepared for a relaxing evening and good night's sleep.

Open to complete beginners and non - yoga practitioners.
