Life can seem overwhelming, especially in these ever changing times where we are exposed to lots of choices and more often than not unrealistic expectations. Chronic physical and mental stress, less daylight in winter and certain events in our lives may cause low mood, encourage negative thinking, make us feel fatigued and depleted of energy. To enhance the quality of our thoughts and reduce the anxious mind we will learn how the shape of the poses we choose can address what's happening in our physical, mental and emotional body. In this workshop we will explore gentle movements as well as the importance of breath which can help us create more positive and healthier mindset during these low moments. We will also go through a depression - lifting series of restorative poses held for longer supported by the props. This will give you the experience of being cradled and protected while providing the opportunity for deep relaxation.
This workshop will make you feel refreshed, give you the tools to build psychological tolerance which increases emotional resilience and reduces hopelessness to name a few.
OPEN TO EVERYONE, including non-yoga practitioners
