This is a slow phase class where some postures are held a bit longer, all on the floor, no standing postures involved. I highly recommend this one for those who are inflexible and do a lot of active sports such as running, football, cycling, gym work etc, because it really helps with releasing tension from joints and muscles and provide deep stretch. No yoga mat is needed for this class. It is a great one to do at home as this would bring more comfort and ease to your practice. Remember if you feel safe and comfortable your body would respond to it and open up much better. Yin Yoga is very effective for; joint health, flexibility and mobility. It is really good for wellbeing as it helps with realising tension from body and mind. I have tailored this class as a self-care session by combining yin yoga, somatic practices, breathing, mindfulness and some visualisation practices. Each session is unique. You can try it and see if it works for you or not.
All levels are welcome, no experience is needed, not suitable for pregnancy, no equipment is needed, just have some pillows and blankets with you..
