Chapter I

What Is Yoga Teacher Insurance?

Having insurance in place allows you to focus on what really matters; teaching yoga!

As a yoga teacher, you can be held legally liable for injury, damage to a third party, and financial loss alleged by students or other parties.

Accidents can happen to the best of us, which is why you should consider insurance!

An insurance policy can protect your yoga teaching and, if covered, help you (financially) in the event of a claim.

Chapter II

Do I Need Yoga Teaching Insurance?

While it's not a legal requirement, you should consider whether having an insurance policy in place is of benefit to you to protect your yoga teaching.

If you are teaching yoga, you may want to consider having an insurance policy in place that protects you from unexpected accidents, such as a student spraining their ankle or your equipment getting damaged.

Even if all of your classes are free, or if you only teach online, you may still need insurance to protect yourself.

It's not uncommon for employers to require you to have insurance. So a policy has the potential to boost your credibility and open the doors to more opportunities for you.

Chapter IV

Do I Need A Corporate Policy?

In the event of a claim, a claimant can try to take legal action against both the individual teacher and the business.

A corporate policy is beneficial if you are a studio, host training courses (provide certificates to graduates), teach retreats, teach workshops etc.
