Overview

I am based in North East Wales and run a paddlesports and water safety company with my partner, as well as home educating our son and running a smallholding. I have been practising yoga since my childhood and was delighted to complete my Yoga Teacher Training with my mother the year of our 40th and 70th birthdays. It is my biggest joy to teach alongside her at our Community Yoga classes, which we strive to make as all-inclusive as possible (participants from 1 to 86 years old so far) www.community-yoga.co.uk.

I also teach 1:1, using my lifelong experience in psychology, coaching, naturopathic nutrition and counselling to give a deep and rounded experience to each and every person I share my practice with. This may be on Stand-up Paddleboard, in the magical surrounding hills, or in the sanctuary of my barn with woodburner crackling in the corner.

I am very interested in creating a strong and supportive community of yoga teachers, and will make it my particular aim to offer learning circles and sharing space, as well as supervision and a chance to offload the stresses and worries of lone working.

My training was with the Yoga Life Project in Manchester with Mick Timpson, which gave me a great grounding in the classical Sivananda style. I have incorporated this into my Iyengar background, and many other influences over the years to make a grounded and intuitive style of yoga which is responsive to the seasons, to the needs of all involved and which aims to bring us all back to the core of our being.
