Overview

My first yoga class was many moons ago in London, and I remember thinking how amazing I felt afterwards. I had never been to any kind of class like it before and it really struck a chord with me. Whilst living in Shanghai, I started practicing yoga regularly, about 14 years ago, at a beautiful studio in an old Chinese shop house, throughout my pregnancies and continued to practice when I moved to Singapore at various studios and in the tropical outdoors by the sea!  

 

For me, yoga makes me feel energized and happy, reminds me to look after myself especially to take a break from motherhood, connects me with a community of like minded people, helps me to find a bit of peace amongst the chaos around life and aids in balancing my emotions.

 

At the end of 2020, as a family we bade farewell to our life in Asia and moved to the UK.  This big upheaval in my life made me reflect on the journey I wanted to undertake and with that I embarked on a 200hr Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Training course at the Academy for Yoga Training in Bath.  Yoga has always been such a positive in my life, and I look forward to sharing that with others.
