Overview

 

Since beginning my yoga journey in 2012, I have found yoga to be the catalyst to help me slow down and look inwards. Although I began my yoga journey as a physical practice and to recover from injuries, it has grown towards an inner transformation: from becoming technically sound to being inspired spiritually. 

Through my 330 hours basic teacher training at Flow Tunbridge Wells (Understanding Yoga Teacher Training) I have made a first step on the path of deepening my knowledge of the ancient wisdom of yoga in order to help others on their own journey towards letting go of ego. I aspire to  teach a mix of mindfulness, meditation, yin & restorative yoga to achieve this. Gentle when necessary, heat up the fire if needed, soothing towards the end. I strive to be a teacher who is grounded, peaceful and spiritual and who helps students bring deeper awareness to their thoughts and emotions, working towards a deeper acceptance of self.  

“Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is about what you learn on the way down” resonates with me first and foremost and I hope to be able to convey this principle with my students during my classes.
