A woman in her 70s came up to me the other day and asked if could she could practice yoga and if yoga is suitable for people with type 2 diabetes? I told her ‘YES’ but not the dynamic yoga classes I teach, but if she could give me a few days I could search around my yoga teacher friends to find gentle classes suitable for her.
Integrating Endocrinology with Yoga will use an exploration of case studies with discussion on how yoga can be integrated with endocrinology. The session will be taught by Ace Pittapan and Trevor George. Case studies cover yoga therapy for post-treatment on movements for people who suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, Thyroid disease etc.
