Harold Coggins has been studying, practicing, and teaching for over 25 years, the philosophy of the Oriental arts: Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Kung Fu. This has become his way of life in keeping physical and mental health and pursuing a path of spiritual development. He successfully healed his own body of various discomforts and defects which resulted from severe physical traumas. His commitment and dedication to the healing arts resulted in testimonies from members of society, ranging from medical practitioners, psychotherapists, teachers and fitness instructors, to mention a few. His deep passion led him to helping many heal and inspiring others to teach these disciplines.

Harold Coggins classes are suitable for both beginner and advanced practitioners.

His comprehensive approach is well-founded in the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology. He is an inspirational teacher, with a quiet authority and humanity based on his own inner balance, a joyful presence, and lifelong experience.


On the mat, Harold's yoga flow is rooted in the study of Hatha, Ashtanga, and Iyengar Yoga, focusing on strong postures and paying particular attention to alignment.


He also brings all his healing experiences to his teaching, and he will guide, support, and encourage practitioners to move their bodies intelligently, offering sensitive adjustments, and creating more freedom, space, and balance in the body, mind, and soul.

    Honestly my first class with Harold was tough. But, once I let go and embraced his class, it took me to another level in my practice. Harold’s practice will allow you to explore different aspect of yoga, get to know yourself and body. He will push you to your limits and teach you how to overcome your fears. He has a way of motivating you that shine a light on what are your current self-limiting beliefs. I’ve learned so much about myself, my body and my capabilities through his practice.
