This weekend retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds is a time for YOU – a time to escape, relax, and let go of the stresses of your everyday life.
As soon as you enter the grounds of Stanton Guildhouse you will be struck by the calm energy and sense of sanctuary. It's founder Mary Osborn met Mahatma Gandhi in the 1920's (a spinning wheel gifted by him sits in the lounge). Inspired by his tales of Indian ashrams, she built her own retreat from the world. Nestled above the picturesque village of Stanton, just South of Broadway, the Cotswold Way passes within a few feet of the property. It boasts stunning views stretching over the Vale of Evesham all the way to the Brecon Beacons.
This beautiful grade II listed manor house has four twin bedrooms, one single, and one room that sleeps four. You can choose to share with friends, or, if you come alone we will pair you with another fabulous female.
Throughout the weekend a delightful mix of yoga and meditation styles will be offered, from enlivening hatha, to deeply soothing somatics and blissful restorative. Whatever the style the practice will be kind and inclusive, you can attend as many sessions as you wish (it is your holiday after all!) and both beginners and seasoned yogis are welcomed and encouraged.
In between practices the day is free to explore the stunning countryside, escape to one of the many secret spaces to read or journal, snuggle in front of the log fire, or simply enjoy not having to ‘get’ or ‘do’ anything at all.
Delicious and nourishing plant based meals, home made cakes, tea and coffee will be served throughout the weekend.
Expect to leave feeling peaceful, restored, and ready to tackle life again!
