In this workshop we'll explore the basic anatomy and physiology of the sacroiliac joints (SIJ). With the newly acquired understanding, we'll learn therapeutic practices from somatics and yoga traditions to heal and further maintain the stability and health of your SIJ.

Workshop summary

In this workshop we'll learn what compromises SIJ stability  and what should and should not be done in your daily life and in your physical practices to keep the integrity of the sacroiliac joints.

We'll study various techniques to release SI joints pain as well as exercises to maintain the health of the joints, ligaments and muscles involved.

You'll get tips and tricks on how to avoid destabilisation of these joints and how to keep them healthy and happy for yourself, your friends and your students.

  • Yoga practitioners and teachers.

Your teacher

Irina Pashkevich Bourdier, the founder of Iriness is a Senior Yoga Teacher as well as Teachers’ Trainer  with Yoga Alliance Professionals. Irina has been a steadfast dedicated yoga practitioner for over 20 years and a teacher since 2008.
