The setting
Nestled underneath the South Downs and edged by woodland with far reaching views across the Sussex Weald, Tilton House sits impressively in the natural landscape on the Firle Estate. The Georgian country house was once home to economist John Maynard Keynes and ballerina Lydia Lopokova as their retreat for contemplation and calm. Today it is a beautiful getaway for Yoga, meditation, drawing, writing and art.
Yoga
There will be a plenty of Yoga throughout the weekend led by Louise Cashin and an opportunity for holistic treatments too (additional cost applies and treatments will need to be booked in advance, information about this will be given once you have booked your retreat place) Our theme for the weekend will be contentment and an optional talk will be given about The Art and Practice of Contentment drawing reference from the Yoga Sutras Of Patanjali
