ABOUT THE SEN YOGA & WELLBEING TEACHER TRAINING COURSE

Every child can benefit from Yoga, no matter what those challenges are, whether physical, mental or emotional.  So if you’re looking to teach Yoga for Children & Teens with Special or Additional Needs (SEN) this course will provide you with all the information, experience, support and confidence you need to safely deliver your own sessions.  We offer a comprehensive and flexible foundation in how to apply and modify a range of therapeutic techniques including massage, sound and mindfulness to assist in leading and delivering adaptive and age- appropriate Yoga and Wellbeing sessions to individuals and groups with specific and mixed abilities. Yoga can help to increase concentration, flexibility and strength, to develop coordination and reduce stress and anxiety. It can add a significant value in helping children to become more aware of their bodies and to manage their mental and  emotional fluctuations more  comfortably. All of these benefits can lead to greater possibilities for a child in reaching their potential, and to live a happier, healthier life.
