ThisYoga Therapy Training is intended for Yoga Teachers who completed a200 hours Teacher Training Course and who are teaching for a minimumof 2 years.

Yogatherapy is the therapy that uses the techniques, philosophy, physiology and psychology of yoga to promote and restorephysical and mental health, as well as complement any allopathic ornatural therapy and to alleviate, treat and cure disorders andillnesses while always keeping in mind the actual goal and purpose ofYoga which is self realization.

Yogatherapy is a fundamental contribution of yoga for modern life, basedon ancient principles, offering natural solutions and using whatyou already have with you, (your body and your mind) to healyourself and see yourself whole and complete despite yourcircumstances and in this way contributing in a very real sense to anintegral and healthier human being.

Therefore,Teachers will learn to apply the Yoga Therapy principles inthemselves, which in a way always was the main process of Yoga, toremove the obstacles (mistaken views, beliefs, diseases) that onemight have to the realization of yoga. Therefore, become themselvesan living example of Yoga Therapy applications.

Eachperson is unique, some students face mental, others physical andothers emotional challenges especially if they come foryoga, Teachers should know the dos and don’ts , teachersshould take this in consideration and know how to teach, guideand adapt the practise and orient the student on a personalized way.

Teacherswill be able to receive and hold in their regular Yoga classes(private or group) practitioners in any physical or psychologicalconditions, bringing awareness to the immense potential of healingand regeneration that each one has in itself, and also teach and useYoga therapy in a private therapy setting (one-a-one) Using YogaTherapy this issues can be dealt with, and a further advancement ofthis health issues can be avoided (heyam dukham anagatam).

Sothat the students should be informed about yoga therapeuticapproach, because Yoga Therapy is needed not only for treating, butalso primary should be used in preventing health issues.

Atthe end of the course, the trainees will be able to use thetechniques (philosophy and psychology) of yoga for therapeuticpurposes in a group or private settings so that their  studentsshould feel improvement in health issues, gain self confidence intheir yoga practise/path and specially realize the totality ofhim/her self in his daily life.
