“We often think people are out of their minds, yet they are mostly out of their body.”

In western yoga we have a focus to strive into movement.

It is started with a call to action, if there’s time an instruction is added to breath and where time is available, there might be an awareness-based cue.

We reverse that.

Starting with an awareness-based instruction, from that place you breathe and move where your awareness takes you.

To sort out list:

Dress code:

a simple cut snug-fitting base layer

(we use electrical tape to mark meridian lines on your body – 2 colours (red Yang and black Yin) light, single coloured, fitted clothing ideally.


Essentials:

· Water bottle/ warm tea

· Notebook and coloured pens of your choice,

· In the course meridians are colour coded.

We use yellow and orange, purple and pink, red, green & grey (all 1 light and 2 dark)

· Yin Props: 1 yoga mat – 2 yoga bricks/blocks/books – 1 firm blanket – 1 yoga belt

1 bolster (to make a bolster, improvise by having a single duvet in a pillow case or 2 extra blankets held in place by an extra belt)

Each weekend covers:

· Yin training based woven with meridians flows

· Where emotions meet the body

· Why we learn better slow – integration

· Pranayama based Breathwork (the power of the pause)

· The 8 Melting Points, a pathway designed by me, to deepen your yoga practise.



Course structure:

The 4 weeks – interactive training 05. June-28. June 2020

4 Weekends

Saturday’s 9.00 – 11.00

Sunday’s 9.00 – 11.00

· Yin yoga basics – indulge within you – reclaim your body

· Breathwork

· Organ sounds

Meridian focus yoga class

4×1 hour via zoom Thursday 19.00-20.00

Tribal Breathwork session

1.5hrs eclipse season 20.00- 21.30

Base fear and back bends… how the past features in your body

bladder & kidney (restlessness to ease – depletion to vibrance)

gallbladder & liver (resentment to forgiveness – anger to humour)

4th weekend
3x2hrs witness shame and grief

Letting go requires absorption and integration first

Kundalini shaking practise

lung & large intestine (prejudice to tolerance – guilt to self-worth)
