I have found practicing yoga invaluable for my physical and mental well-being. As a result of all these amazing benefits, a growing interest and my enjoyment of practicing, I undertook yoga teacher training so that I could deepen my own understanding and experience of physiology, anatomy and philosophy.
I studied a Hatha YA200 diploma course with Smart Qualifications which included level 2 and level 3 exams in anatomy and physiology. This was a really challenging, interesting and rewarding process, especially after so many years of self study and revision!
Since then, I teach a beginner yoga to colleagues and students in a school setting, but more recently, I have been asked to take over my first yoga teacher's well established class which is a real honour.
I continue to deepen my own self-practice and have enjoyed two courses recently: Intensive Yin Yoga with Norman Blair and Youth Yoga and Mindfulness Training with Live Love Yoga.
