Iam a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and have been practising yoga since 2006.
Yoga classes:
I teach several different classes at the Yoga Life Studio in Eastbourne, which I also run. My classes include traditional Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Mums and babies, Family yoga with partner yoga elements and also Aerial Yoga and Meditation. I love teaching yoga outdoors, drawing on allthe elements around us and once a week I run a Beach Yoga class.
My teachings also take me outside the studio, I love running a Hatha Yoga class ina beautiful yurt on a private farm in Stone Cross.
My passion for yoga started when I fell pregnant with my son and now I treat new and expectant mums to a free yoga course that is offered through various Children Centres across East Sussex.
Even children now realise and feel the benefits of mindfulness and yoga practice andI am happy to share this with Eastbourne College students and children of St Andrews School in Eastbourne.
Teacher Training:
I am a teaching assistant on a RYT200 Teacher Training programme (Yoga LifeTeacher Training) run by Wenche Beard. Iam responsible for correcting all the work that students produce, administration and organisation of the course and the students, assisting in class and offering my support to the students and Wenche alike.
Retreats/Holidays:
I run a day yoga retreats from the comfort of a yoga yurt set in a private farm in East Sussex. During these retreats I cover classical hatha yoga and hands on adjustment, restorative yoga and yoga Nidra, relaxation & meditation, mindfulness and chanting.
I am very excited about our upcoming Beach Yoga Holiday in Marsa Shagra Egypt, a very special location that everyone falls in love with! Our next trip is in March 2018.
In June next year I will be running yoga holiday in Agistri Island, Greece.
Business:
Coming from a business background it naturally fell into place that I am also incharge of the Yoga Life Studio. Day today administration, accounts, personnel of 20+ teachers and therapists, promotion and advertising, clients liaisons.
My aim is to bring peace, mindfulness and contentment to my clients and make them feel cared for, appreciated and loved.
