Overview

I began my yoga journey in 1999, taking classes as an antidote to my stressful job. Over the years I have practised different styles of yoga and delved deeper into my practice.
In 2017, my Nan died and this made me take stock and re-evaluate my life.I decided that I wanted to embark on yoga teacher training, as I wanted to share my love of yoga.
Yoga has got me through some tough times,the death of my Nan, a divorce and a few health issues to name a few!

I felt it was the right time to make a change, I left my job of 20 years and began my training with Live Love Yoga at the amazing Salt Water Studios in Worthing.
I haven’t looked back, I love sharing my practice with my students. I want yoga to be for everyone, I enjoy modifying poses so that they can be practised by a student in their way, how I hold a pose is different to how someone else can hold the pose and that is the beauty of yoga.

My style of teaching is a slower style, but slow does not always mean it’s the easy way!

The majority of classes that I teach are gentle flow, restorative, yin, teen and chair yoga.

Everyone is welcome in my classes, I do like to re-enforce that you work with your body and your needs on the day.

When I’m not practising or teaching yoga, my time is spent with my Husband and our Daughter, she loves the outdoors so you are likely to find us at the beach or a playground enjoying the fresh air and maybe an ice cream or two!
