A little about me... I recently graduated from Live Love Yoga with the beautiful Nathalie Wilhelm. During my training I gained much insight into why I am where I am, what draws me to Yoga and where I may be heading. I have deepened my understanding and knowledge of Yoga, Yogic philosophy, our anatomical and functional movement and our breath. I have just begun to open the can of worms, wriggling everywhere, thirsty for continued knowledge and understanding. 

Although I am new to guiding others, I have relished in the opportunities to support and empower through Yoga. Everyday I am learning, learning through research and education, but also through the people I meet during my sessions. I recognise my privilege and am working to understand more about my place within cultural appropriation. I acknowledge that my few small words are like a drop in the ocean  and do not impress the significant trauma caused or healing needed. 

I am currently working with a company called The Surrey Hills Adventure Company (The SHAC) to offer Yoga Meditation, Pranayama, Asana, Yamas & Niyamas. I am connected to this company via my other skills as a SUP, Swim, Run and eFoil coach. Working with the company has afforded me the opportunity to practise teaching to a wide audience immediately, helping me to gain much experience.

I hope to be able to develop my teaching practise and offer classes in additional spaces. I am passionate about nature and the great outdoors. I believe the environment in which Yoga may be practised can offer additional space and enlightenment. I look for spaces involving the outdoors, whether that is in the woods, on beaches, by the sea, in remote fields, next to rivers and lakes or even on them! Connecting to nature, re-wilding, finding spaces.
