Overview

I have lived in the Glastonbury area all my life, I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga since 2000 when I started practicing yoga in my local gym to balance the aerobic classes that I did.

I trained under Jane Piddington and Brian Cooper in Glastonbury in 2015/2016.

If you hear yourself saying I am not flexible so I can't do yoga, this is when you need to try a class, it is all about working towards postures, with a positive mind and smile on your face it is amazing what you can achieve.

I set up Believe yoga and I teach Ashtanga Vinyasa flow yoga with my sister (Bridge) at Westhay every week even during school holidays. As we teach in pairs it means we spend time to ensure all students work correctly within the postures and give extra assistance where required. All of our classes are empathetic and tailor made to individual needs and circumstances without compromising a high standard of practice. We remind students that there is such depth and breath in yoga, keep calm and do yoga.

Through our life the majority of us would have picked up one injury or another, with yoga we all work within our own abilities.

I have attended lots of workshops and yoga retreats, some of these include Jane Piddington, Vanessa Gilgoff, Lucy Crawford, Nancy Gilgoff, Brian Cooper and Petri Raisanen.

I had an opportunity to train with Brian Cooper for Thai Massage in 2016, I took up this opportunity and qualified and now offer Thai Massage which compliment yoga well.
