Workshop’s intention |

This 2-hour long mini-workshop aims at demystifying meditation and introducing you to this ancient practice that reminds us that within each of us is an inner core of peace.

It is intended as a taster workshop, which may lead to a regular monthly meditation class at Iriness.

Workshop in brief |

  • Learn about the myriad of benefits of meditation and what it can do for us.
  • We’ll experiment with simple meditation and pranayama practices that can be taken home with you as a starter for a regular practice that you can use anytime, anywhere.
  • Fun and interactive as well as deeply inspiring.
  • Concluding with a guided session of Yoga Nidra to completely relax and let go.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is ideal for anyone who has a curiosity about meditation and would like to know more.  Ideal if you are challenged by stress, anxiety, pain or too much busyness.  And for anyone, who is looking for that ‘something more’ from life.  In short, meditation is for everyone.

Teacher |

The workshop will be led by Michelle Nalini Deane, an experienced meditation and Yoga Nidra teacher, who lived in the Ananda Yoga Community for many years.  She shares and teaches with passion, knowledge and humour.

When & where?

The workshop will take place at Iriness Yoga & Wellbeing Horsham on the 15th September, Saturday from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
