This mini-workshop aims at introducing and practising the Sanskrit counted method of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. This method is designed to focus and still the mind, bringing practitioners to the next level of practice – meditation in motion. To enable a fluid counted vinyasa method, the tools of pranayama will be taught as well.

During this 2 hours module:
We will learn pranayama techniques, supporting yoga practice, especially the meditative aspect of it.
We will practise the counted method for the Standing and part of the Primary sequences of Ashtanga yoga.
We will work in a group of max 10, which will be split into pairs.
We will learn how to transit from posture to posture with more grounding and fluidity.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is ideal for the current Iriness students, who have been practising for at least 2 months regularly or/and any other Ashtanga yoga practitioners interested in exploring the counted method. The maximum number of students is 10.
