Cultivating Compassion for Profound Personal Healing

Yoga - Applied Anatomy - Breathwork – Integration Techniques - Emotional Anatomy - Yoga Nidra
with Adam Divine & Viriam Kaur

We live in a world where we are always switched on and many people are suffering from burn-out. Working with the Vagus Nerve is a key way to activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System, creating balance and conscious healing.

Higher vagal tone is linked to physical and psychological wellbeing. The vagus nerve is a bundle of nerves starting at the top of the spinal cord. It activates different organs throughout the body (including the heart, lungs, liver and digestive organs). People with high vagal tone have improved immunity, cell regeneration and deal with stressful situations in a more conscious way. They are even more in-tune with their gut instincts.

In this workshop, we will activate the Vagus Nerve through asana, breathwork, meditation, hands-on integration techniques and yoga nidra – essentially creating body awareness and deep relaxation.

The Dalai Lama said that the seat of compassion is biological and is necessary for survival.

Activate your Relaxation Response to cultivate profound healing.

Adam Divine has been teaching massage courses and anatomy for yoga teacher trainees for seven years around the world and has been practicing massage himself for over twelve. From working with Anatomy Trains, osteopaths, yoga teachers and breathwork practitioners he has developed a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body and sees subtle awareness as the key to transformation. He has devised a therapeutic massage and yoga system - Structural Awareness Technique. He has lived in India for over ten years.
