I have been teaching yoga and meditation for 18 years in Goa, the Himalayas, UK and Ireland - and now more online teaching. I started my yogic journey with SKY School of Kundalini Yoga in 2002 . I also teach Yogic Philosophy on an International RYS-200 and RYS-500 teacher training with Himalaya Yoga Valley which looks more at the philosophy of Hatha Yoga and Patanjali. I recently became a Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness Consultant after 300hr course iwth American Institue of Vedic Studies - I have also studied with Oxford College of Hindu Studies, Max Strom, Giten Tonkov, Angela Farmer, Christopher Hareesh Wallis, Embodied Philosophy, Yoga Nidra Network, Yogacampus, Starchild Yoga. I run regular classes, workshops and intensives.
In recent years, I have been working with Adam Divine who has devised a Bodywork system - Structural Awareness Technique - which as well as ironing out postural issues and misalignment, looks deeper into the core at our emotional anatomy. Adam has invited me to explore body and stress release by teaching yoga asana, dynamic meditations and yoga nidra.
Living in India for the majority of the year, I am deeply influenced by holistic health and ayurveda, as well as yoga and mantra. I am lucky to be connected to some inspiring musicians and together we create mantric vibrations and we perform concerts and host kirtans around the world. We have put together two CDs of our music. Since 2015, I have also been working with Yoga Nidra and I am enjoying learning more and sharing this profound relaxation space that creates such insight and clarity. My students like that I share yoga philosophy and awareness practices in a down-to-earth and accessible way. My aim is to create a deeper insight into what makes us tick and encourage us to take responsibility for ourselves.
